As a consultant, this book taught me about the importance of trading on my expertise, instead of trading in tasks, services, or deliverables. I haven't yet seen any other book that specifically tackles the issue of brand positioning as an expert. It is for real experts who have worked to earn their expertise, not overnight consultants. David Baker is very right when he says that it takes a certain courage and his book provides a lot of guidance for the journey.
You can feel the rigor of his insights. Readable and insightful. I imagine it would be quite boring to someone with a product business, but for the consultant types, this is highly relevant.
