Flight Out of Darkness is a spiritual training manual. The author, a graduate of the Air Force Academy, walks the reader out of the grips of depression, anxiety, and fear. She has had personal experience with these dark emotions and has learned to how to come out on the other side. This book is a guide for others, based on her learning and experiences. No one is a stranger to these feelings. Some suffer more severely than others, but everyone is familiar with sadness, worry, fear, etc. The ideas and teaching from this book are Biblical and aimed at Christians.The author emphasizes the importance of reading and knowing Scripture. The more we study and learn the Bible, the better we will be able to recognize and hear God’s voice in our lives. Without Scripture, we may not recognize God’s voice when he speaks. Or, we may accidentally attribute another’s voice to God. I really appreciate how the author emphasizes that God speaks to ALL who know him. If we don’t hear him, it is because we haven’t trained ourselves to hear him. And, that training begins with the solid foundation of scripture.I also really like how the author gives other resources within the chapters to further your study or dig deeper on a particular topic. This is so helpful. I will definitely be looking into these extra resources.One of my favorite parts of the book is where the author talks about feeling so overwhelmed in a different country with three young children. Just deciding what to make for dinner was overwhelming. She started asking God to give her guidance in this small decision. Then, she had doubts that God would really care about or take the time to answer what seemed like such an insignificant request. However, he did and through this small thing, she was able to refine her ability to hear God’s voice. I love this so much. I have had such similar thoughts and struggles and hearing how she grew from this is so encouraging! God even cares about our meal planning struggles!All throughout the book are techniques that anyone can begin to apply right away. These are so practical and easy-to-implement. I have highlighted many of them to go back to and incorporate in my daily life. These encompass all areas of the Christian life - spirit, mind, and body. So helpful!This book offers so much hope for someone who is suffering from depression, anxiety, or just “feeling blue.” But, it also applies to any Christian who is looking to deepen their relationship with Jesus, whether they struggle with depression and anxiety or just want practical, spiritual help in daily life. It offers applicable advice and ideas to implement to begin seeing immediate relief from the struggles of everyday living. Air fryer is a fun appliance which makes home cooking indescribably easy – I've saved tons of time, nerves and money using my fryer for the last three years. Lately, I've been running out of ideas and decided I need to freshen up my recipes list a little bit. This cookbook came up as recommended and I could not resist the urge to tackle my curiosity and give my loved ones something to be surprised with.

I’ve tried about a dozen recipes so far, and they were mouth-watering. Even my picky boys loved the Orange beef mignon, and they rarely eat at home whenever they can. Great recipes, easy-to-follow instructions. I was delighted to find out that the recipes mostly call for the ingredients that any well-stocked household normally has. There are very little recipes requiring some sort of weird hard to find ingredients, and I know how to appreciate that.

I never thought there’s even a possibility to turn cooking into spending quality time together activity.
